As an independent contractor, I have the flexibility to chose where, when, and with whom I work. Currently, I work in the following areas:

Ceiba Legal, PC.  I work with Ceiba Legal, PC, a Native American–owned law firm led by Little Fawn Boland, to advise tribal governments on economic development initiatives, intellectual property strategy, governance, and complex contractual matters. Ceiba Legal serves tribal governments, tribally owned enterprises, and organizations across Indian Country, with deep experience in economic development, gaming and hospitality projects, tax credit structuring, regulatory navigation, and tribal governance. Much of my work with Ceiba Legal involves building durable systems, forming and structuring entities, drafting foundational governance documents, aligning capital strategies with regulatory requirements, and translating complex legal frameworks into practical decision-making tools. Additionally, I advise many tribes on their entertainment, licensing, and performance agreements.

Artists. I work with artists, creators, and small businesses to protect and develop their brands. This includes advising on trademark and copyright strategy, handling registration and enforcement, and drafting and reviewing contracts related to creative work, collaborations, licensing, and distribution. Currently, I represent a few musicians and an art collective, but I am always looking to stay involved in the arts and I would love to hear about your work!

Mediation. Alongside my legal advisory work, I serve as a mediator for groups and individuals that are working to come to a resolution over a dispute without going to court.

If this work is relevant to what you’re building or navigating, I’m always open to a conversation.
